In planning Orlando Bear Bash 2011 we are so grateful for all of your wonderful comments and suggestions and we are pleased that you had such a great time in 2010. The feedback was remarkably positive and we are so glad that you had as much fun as we did. We look forward to utilizing your comments and suggestions to build upon our great success in 2010.

The "You Spoke, We Listened" segment below illustrates how we incorporated some of the major themes within the feedback our attendees provided about OBB 2010 into the plans for Orlando Bear Bash 2011.

You Spoke: We asked you what factors are most important when determining which bear runs to attend. By and large the two most important factors are both cost of the run package and cost of the hotel rooms. We are grateful for all the comments indicating that we excelled in both the cost of the hotel room rate we negotiated and the low cost of our run pass. You also spoke about how much you loved the early bird rate and early bird option.

We Listened: You like low cost early bird rates so we are giving you low cost early bird rates. If you book by December 31, 2010 the hotel room rate will only be $75 per night for a standard room. We are so pleased to offer this rate which, amazingly, beats the low rate we offered in 2010. Like 2010, we are also offering an early bird run pass rate. Book by December 31, 2010 and get your run pass for $69. Because you love early bird rates we added another tier to our run pass pricing for those who miss the first deadline.

You Spoke: We asked you what parties and events are most important to you in determining which bear events to attend. An amazing 94.4% of you said POOL PARTIES.

We Listened: It is with great pleasure we announce that Orlando Bear Bash 2011 features three pool parties. We decided to get right to it and start the event with a late night pool party on Thursday night. So on Thursday, it's rip off the Toga after the Welcome and Toga Party and jump right into our late night pool party. We didn't stop there; we extended the hours of our pool parties on both Friday and Saturday afternoon. We also made sure to include two buffet style BBQ's with the pool parties on BOTH Friday and Saturday.

You Spoke: The feedback tells us that the after hours parties were one of the highlights of the event.

We Listened: We didn't want to mess with a good thing too much so we just added an after hours party for our early arrivals on Wednesday night. We will also have after hours parties on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

You Spoke: We received a few complaints about the 2010 host hotel, but we felt that was an easy fix.

We Listened: We moved the 2011 event to The Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration. This hotel is very eager to welcome the bears in September 2011; so eager that the host hotel is also offering a 10% discount to friends of Orlando Bear Bash who will be visiting Orlando before Orlando Bear Bash 2011. You Spoke: We asked very detailed information about what you thought of our entertainers and our events. We wanted to know what events to drop from our lineup; which entertainers and events you liked and which ones you didn't. We were pleased that our 2010 attendees consistently liked the events and the entertainment.

The theme in the feedback as areas of improvement were laregly about the host hotel. The theme that rang through time again in the areas for improvement can be summarized in one word: FLOW. For example, it is no secret that a BLU (Bear, Leather, Uniform) Ball and a Leather and Unifirm Cigar Party go well together, but not when they are held several floors apart as the layout of the 2010 host hotel forced us to do.

We Listened:The good news is, the theme of FLOW that rang through the comments and suggestions is easily improved. We are pleased to report that The Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration has a much better flow for our events. For example, the 2011 BLU Ball and Leather and Cigar Social are going to be right next to each other..
